FAQ

FAQs

How old does my child have to be to access the Children’s Centre?

Children’s Centre services are for children aged 0 – 5 years.  We also offer antenatal services.

What is a Children’s Centre?

Children’s Centres offer children under 5 and their families a range of services to help them meet their full potential.  These include health, education, family support and access to employment.

Are services free?

All services and activities are free unless otherwise stated.  For example, we may charge for one off events or trips.

Can I bring older children too?

We ask that you do not bring children who are absent from school due to sickness.

During school holidays, older children are welcome but places may be limited depending on the activity.

Please call to check if you are unsure.

Can I bring a snack for my child?

Sometimes, children in our groups may have allergies.  So we can keep everyone as safe as possible, we ask that food and drink are saved for before or after group time.  Water will be supplied.

Why can’t we use mobile phones or take photos?

This is so we can make sure photos of children are only taken with consent and are stored safely.  Please help us keep our groups safe by taking calls outside.
